FAQ

Questions people ask before starting

Don't see yours? Ask me directly.

Who do you work with?

Adults and couples navigating identity, neurodivergence, and relationships, especially where they overlap. Neurodiverse adults, ADHD, gender-expansive clients, couples, and people recovering from betrayal are at the heart of my practice.

What makes Three Tales different?

Most therapists separate neurodiversity, gender, couples work, and trauma. Three Tales is built for the intersection, for people whose lives don't fit neatly into one category.

Do you work with neurodiverse clients?

Yes, including adults with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, and late-identified neurodivergence. Sessions are adapted to how your brain works, not the other way around.

Is Three Tales affirming for trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive clients?

Yes. Your identity is the starting point, never the problem to solve. I also provide letters of support for gender-affirming medical care.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I'm in network with BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare/Optum, and Cigna. Self-pay and out-of-network superbills are also available. See Insurance and fees for details.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. I see clients in person in Chicago and by secure video anywhere in Illinois.

Do you work with individuals, couples, or both?

Both. Some people start individually and later bring a partner in, or the reverse. We'll talk through what fits.

What if I'm in crisis?

This practice can't provide emergency care. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.
